This design is similar to last week, however this time we have not used large hole beads – instead we are using the new Faceted agate rondelles. Make your jump rings out of 18ga Artistic Wire, to be about 14mm in diametre. We have made smaller rings for the ends at about 8mm in diametre.

Amethyst, Fluorite & Clear Quartz Long Necklace
Why We Love This Tutorial: This is a simply strung, long necklace that you can complete in less than an hour! We would often knot between each gemstone bead with this style of necklace, but by using tiny 15/0 seed beads we get the same effect with a lot less effort (and time, yay!). We’ve…
Rhodonite & Lava Gemstone Wrap Tutorial
Why we love this tutorial: This was a technique we first discovered many years ago, and in fact we’ve already done a tutorial using it. Why We Love This Tutorial: This is a class we teach once a year or so – we absolutely love the wire swirl design. If you are local we suggest coming along to the class – the swirl design is much easier to learn in person. Plus the class is always a lot of fun!…
Chain & Cord Citrine Bracelet Tutorial
Why We Love This Tutorial: What a cool (but simple) little technique! This tutorial uses cord and chain to create a design that almost looks like crochet – and yet it’s super fast and easy to make. You can use any smallish beads (ours are mostly within 4mm to 6mm wide), so it’s once again…
Freshwater Pearl and Amethyst
This slightly different take on macramé uses tigertail as the base (to string the pearls onto), then hemp cord to wrap. This is great ad you don’t need to find beads with big holes to macramé!
Amazonite Rondelle Knotting Necklace Tutorial
Why We Love This Tutorial: We really wanted to try knotting between each bead using Rondelle gemstones (as opposed to the usual round shape). I actually really love how it turned out – we’ll definitely be doing a few more knotted designs using rondelles in the future! We have used some of our new 0.65mm…
