Why We Love This Tutorial:
This is a very simple, dangle necklace using some of our gorgeous sparkly 4mm faceted fluorite beads. We’ve also used one of our new tarnish-resistant 18K gold plated stainless steel charms (as well as all tarnish-resistant findings, including the chain).
Beads and Materials You’ll Need (product name is clickable):
- 4mm gemstone beads (we have used Faceted Fluorite 4mm beads).
- 1x 18K gold plated daisy charms
- 18K gold plated chain necklace
- 8x 25mm Tarnish Resistant Ballpins
- 8x 2mm Tarnish Resistant Round Beads
- 1x 4mm Tarnish Resistant Jump ring
Tools You’ll Need:
Method:
- Make your 8 dangles: take a ballpin, slide on the 4mm Fluorite followed by a 2mm round bead. Cut the pin to about 7mm above the 2mm bead, and form a loop using round nose pliers.
- Assemble the necklace: use a 4mm jump ring to attach the charm to the center of the necklace. Then, one by one attach each dangle to the necklace (4 either side of the charm), by opening the loops you previously made and attaching directly to the chain. Ensure the loops on your pins are closed up tightly to ensure they can’t fall off!
- And that’s it!
