Description
Full strand of beautiful Turquoise Magnesite gemstone beads in a polished disc shape. These are a lovely light blue/green Turquoise colour, with natural brown veins. High quality beads with a lovely polish.
Strand Length: Approx. 38cm to 40cm (15 to 16 inches)
Bead Size: 15mm long, 15mm wide, 6mm thick.
Hole Size: Approx. 0.8mm to 1mm

What is Turquoise Magnesite?
Magnesite is a natural white/cream toned gemstone, that is dyed with copper to create the wonderful blue/green colour of turquoise. In fact, dying the stones in this way is recreating the natural process in which Turquoise gets its colour in the ground…so it’s as close to natural Turquoise as you could get without paying 100s of dollars a strand! Turquoise Magnesite is heavy like natural Turquoise, and is a beautiful alternative to genuine Turquoise. It is also a vast improvement on previous versions of ‘synthetic’ turquoise, which were heavily resin based and quite light and unnatural looking.
