Turquoise Magnesite is a dyed variety of magnesite, known for its bright turquoise colour and often used as an affordable alternative to natural turquoise. Magnesite is a beautiful natural stone in it’s own right, and is generally a white to cream stone with natural brown matrix. These are a big improvement on the ‘reconsituted’ and ‘block’ imitation turquoises that are available; they do not contain resin, so are heavy like real turquoise and highly shiny.
