Rainbow Moonstone refers to Moonstone that contains the blue/green flash (not to be confused with White Moonstone which is a different variety of Moonstone. White Moonstone does not contain any flashes of colour, and has more of a white Cats-eye appearance). These are A grade natural Rainbow Moonstone, which in this case means they are almost entirely clear of any black/brown inclusions. Please keep in mind that the blue/green flash is VERY subtle and not apparent in every bead.

Grading System: Most of our gemstone beads are not graded, and are of a standard (very high) quality. Only some gemstones are labelled with a grade, and those are generally the more expensive or rare gemstones. The reason for this is these stones are often offered in lower grades in addition to the A grade, to provide more affordable options. We offer many of these rarer stones in an A and B grade, and occasionally an AB grade. We will clarify in the item description what this grade means in relation to that particular gemstone, as there is no universal set system for grading gemstone beads.
