Larvikite is an igneous rock composed primarily of feldspar, named after the Larvik region of Norway where it was first discovered. It is typically dark grey to black with shimmering flashes of silver or blue caused by its feldspar crystals. Although it’s sometimes sold as Black Labradorite, Larvikite is a distinct stone with its own unique beauty.
