Full strand of cultured freshwater pearls in a rice shape. Beautiful high lustre and soft peach colour.

Surface: Nice lustre, some slight natural ringing around pearls.
Colour: Peach with some lilac tones.
Size: Approx. 8mm to 11mm long (beads are somewhat graduated, with smaller beads ~8mm at the ends of the strand and larger beads ~10mm in the middle), 6mm to 7mm wide. Size varies strand to strand slightly.
Strand Length: Approx. 35cm

Hole size: Approx. 0.6mm

What are Cultured Freshwater Pearls?
Cultured freshwater pearls are farmed natural pearls grown by mussels. The mussel is implanted with a tiny piece of mantle tissue, in a process called nucleation. The pearl will then form around this tiny piece of mantle and be harvested when the desired size/age is reached. One mussel can produce dozens of pearls!
