Full strand of natural Amethyst gemstone beads, in a lovely pebble shape. These have a wonderfully shiny polished finish.
Size: Approx. 10mm to 12mm long, 7mm to 8mm wide, 4mm to 7mm thick.
Strand Length: Approx. 38cm to 40cm

Amethyst Meaning & Uses
The word Amethyst is derived from a Greek word meaning “not intoxicated”. It is believed to assist in sobering one up in times of overindulgence. And not just for alcohol, but all forms of overindulgence or addiction such as food, drugs, sex or even over-thinking. But Amethyst is not the anti-fun crystal! It simply provides common-sense and a calming effect, helping one gain control of their life and emotions.
Physically, Amethyst is said to be useful for alleviating insomnia due to it’s calming effect on the nervous system. It is also useful for balancing hormones and assisting the endocrine system; this has a positive effect on metabolism.
