Description
Howlite is a solid (and occasionally opaque) near-white stone, that contains soft grey veining throughout. Howlite takes a wonderful polish, and is very glossy. It is often dyed to resemble other stones, due to this glossy shine and the natural matrix. Howlite beads are often dyed blue or green to look like Turquoise, red to look like coral or deep royal blue to look like Lapis Lazuli. Howlite Meaning & Uses
Howlite is a crystal of awareness: it will give you the gift of wisdom and enlightenment. It makes issues and problems become easier to understand, and unveils truths that have been hard to see. Howlite is said to provide focus by blocking out external noise. It is for this reason that it is also a calming stone, promoting serenity, and is particularly useful for meditation.
